Deodorant packaging is a mechanism problem before it is a design problem. Solid and balm formulas change consistency with temperature, so the same twist-up mechanism can feel right in one market and wrong in another.

Refillable stick structures are worth considering here specifically because the benefit is easy to communicate: the outer pack stays, the inner cup is replaced. That is a claim a brand can put on pack without needing to explain a material system.
