Household and daily care packaging is judged on function and cost rather than finish, which changes what is worth optimising. Packing efficiency, transport damage and the size of the labelling area usually matter more than surface decoration.

One structural point is worth raising early: a trigger sprayer built with a plastic external spring has no metal component, so the whole sprayer can be handled as a single recyclable material. Where a customer is being asked to report on packaging recyclability, that removes a real problem rather than offsetting it.
