Skincare covers the widest range of textures of any category we work with, and texture is what decides the packaging. A serum, a rich cream and a light lotion each need a different dispensing route even at the same fill volume.

Two questions usually settle most of the project. First, does the formula need to be kept away from air — that points to airless. Second, what does the formula do when it passes through a pump — that decides output per stroke and whether a treatment pump, a lotion pump or a dropper is the right component.
